Hey Mallory. Well, you have a few here that are working quite well. The music sheet and the pyramid image are multi-layered and and the elements are well incorporated. The flower image, however--although colorful and fun to look at--would be so much stronger if you had cut out and pasted individual flowers instead of pasting on entire images. You did some of the flowers that way, and those are interesting as a result. If the whole collage had been done that way, it would be very strong. Nicely done for a first assignment.
Hey Mallory! I agree with Jason that your composition with the music is definitely one of your stronger compositions, and I think it would have been cool if the flower and hearts were colored. Your other compositions are pretty great too, however, they would be stronger if the items were blended together a little more. All in all, they're pretty awesome!
Great job, Mal! I love the music image. It's my favorite! Although, I do love the black and white I think it would have added a little more and a pop if the hearts and flower would have been in color. I like it in black and white as well though. I love the idea of the flower image especially with all the color. The flowers that were cut out and pasted look really good and part of the original background. Also, really like the treasure box in the pyramid image..neat idea! Well, done!!!
