What I thought about this class

Overall, I had a really great time in this class. I really enjoyed getting to work with gimp and learning how to make people invisible, cloning people, and making a video with animation. I hope that after this class i will be able to use this to help make my images really neat. I really have enjoyed this class even with all the difficulties with my video and my computer. But I had so much fun learning all these cool and neat ideas.

Invisible images

This was a fun project. I had some issues with the last one with her neck and collar. The other ones turned out so much better. I really enjoyed this. It is going to take some practice but over all i think I did a pretty good job with this.

Invisible People Good/Bad Examples

This is an Example of a bad one. Her head and midsection are invisible but not completely. So this would be a bad one.

This is also a  bad example. You can see where her feet and legs would be. in the water.

This is a bad example. Something is going on with the handle bar.

This is a good example. You can see right down into the shirt and jacket. also you can see up the sleeves.

This is a good example. They did a great job of cutting around the neck as well as with the legs and ankles.

This one is a good example except for the girls legs. I guess they thought that because of the tights they could leave the legs. But other than that Really good one.

This is my 3rd clone image. I really like this one a lot. She was a great model and had fun with it.

I liked this assignment. It was fun once I figured out what I was doing. Overall it was fun. I still have to post a 3rd image But I wanted to go on and post the 2 that I have done. I really liked cloning. The only thing is that this world doesn't need 3 of me and 3 of Lauren. LOL!

I really enjoyed doing this pictures. I loved getting to turn this into 3D Images. This is my favorite assignment so far.

This one looks like the cows head is really coming out at you.

This one is good because the polar bear looks like its right here in front of you.

This one is good because his nose is coming right at us.

This one isn't good because it looks like a regular picture.

This one doesn't look 3d at all.

This one doesn't show any depth perception.

I enjoyed working on these a lot. I got to be creative. The only downfall to this was I had difficulty with some of the tools working the way I wanted them to. But other than that I enjoyed this project. But would like to do more with these later on to make them much better.

Gimp project 1: Moon Adventure

This project was fun, The funny part is when I tried to help Lauren Flippin finish hers I couldn't remember how to put the rocket in. But here  mine is. I am just going to have to start taking notes step by step to make sure I remember how to do this. But over all I am enjoying this class and how to create these unique pictures with different layers of pictures. Can't wait to learn more!

I chose music notes because I love to sing and singing makes me happy.

I chose a picture of children singing because I teach 1st through 3rd grade children's choir and they make me happy when I get to hear them sing .

I chose Zebra because it is my favorite print and black and white is very classy. 

About Me

I am a senior here at Bethel University. My Major is Child Learning and Development with an Endorsement in Special Education. I am so excited about this adventure. I also sing in the Renaissance Choir. I have one brother who works here at Bethel. I have a nephew and a niece that are my life. I love spending time with them. I also like to draw and paint. I haven't done it in a while but I still enjoy in. I also love photography. I hope that through this class I become better at it and be able to do more things with my photos.

Flowers

 This picture of the rose inspires me because I love flowers. I love the smell of flowers and I love getting flowers.

 This picture of this blue flower inspires me because you can see so much detail that you wouldn't have seen if this person hadn't gotten so close to it. I love that you can even see the little droplets of water in this picture.

This picture inspires me because it reminds me that all of the many flowers that are out there are all different. No two flowers are the same. Just like us as humans. None of us are the same. God created us all different for a reason.
